What Is Trying to Grow in Your Life Right Now?

Each one of us has needed a new beginning at some point.
New clothes.
New friendships.
A new job.
A new home.
A new relationship.
A new baby.
Or a completely new life… because the old one no longer fits.
Growth is part of being alive.
But here’s what’s interesting…
Not all growth looks the same.
Sometimes it’s so slow, so quiet, you almost miss it.
Like a late Spring.
At first, nothing seems to change…
And then one day—you notice the sun feels warmer, the air softer, and suddenly, the trees are full again.
Other times, growth comes like a storm.
Loud. Disruptive. Uninvited.
It tears things down… and leaves you with the work of rebuilding.
And sometimes?
Growth feels like hard labor.
Like starting over.
Like pushing through resistance, uncertainty, and fatigue.
But then… there are those moments.
A sudden opening.
An unexpected opportunity.
A new idea that changes everything.
A person who walks into your life at just the right time.
No matter how it arrives—quietly, forcefully, or unexpectedly—
growth asks something of you:
👉 Your attention.
👉 Your willingness.
👉 Your participation.
And here’s where many people miss it…
They stay so busy managing the urgent and the familiar…
that they leave no space for the new.
🌱 So let me ask you…
What is trying to grow in your life right now?
Not someday.
Not “when things settle down.”
Now.
Take a moment. Breathe. Let your mind wander a bit.
Let yourself daydream.
What might be possible?
🌿 Then… give your dream structure.
Because dreams without direction fade.
Try this:
✨ Narrow it down to your top three desires
✨ Write why each one truly matters to you
✨ Choose ONE to begin now—not later
✨ Create a simple, realistic plan
✨ Identify how you might sabotage it (be honest here)
✨ Decide how you will stay on track
Start small.
But start.
Growth doesn’t require perfection.
It requires movement.
🌸 Here’s the truth most people avoid:
If you stop growing… something inside you starts to shut down.
And there is nothing sadder than a person who is alive…
but no longer expanding.
A beautiful garden doesn’t happen by accident.
It takes vision.
It takes intention.
It takes care.
And so does your life.
💫 Remember…
Take time to dream.
Envision something new.
Act with purpose and perseverance.
And don’t do it alone—find someone who will walk with you.
🌷 A personal note…
Next week is my birthday.
And I’ve made a decision…
In this decade of my 70s, I’m no longer counting years.
I’m counting dreams.
Dreams of new places to visit.
New people to connect with.
New lives to impact.
New leaders to inspire.
🌟 So now it’s your turn…
What is one thing you’re ready to grow?
In your life?
In your relationships?
In your work?
Don’t just think about it.
Begin it.
Then, Share with us!
